Headliner Motley Crue Very disappointing comeback
This year鈥檚 show, unfortunately, was one of the worst concerts I've ever seen. The Tommy Lee Debacle was pathetic. His "Accident" couldn't have been better timed. After leaving the stage after song #2. Then coming out for "Home Sweet Home.
I absolutely loved that song back in the day, but Tommy Lee's "piano playing" was almost unrecognizable. They should have just had a replacement. Vince Neil, oh my God. Just seeing his physical appearance - I knew he has gotten really fat, but wearing a gigantic shirt and some type of ladies house coat to try and cover himself up.
I mean he only had two years to get in shape. Next, a show stopper: his voice. It was so bad. He totally forgot tons of words, so most of the time Nikki Sixx and the background dancing girls covered. Vince didn't even bother to sing. Also, there were a few shades of yesteryear in his singing which were totally a backing track.
So many times at the end of their songs, all the lights went out and the band just walked around either doing nothing or talking to other people on stage. There were many times where this went on for 20-30 seconds. Why did they give Vince a guitar on 2 songs, most of the time he didn't even play.
Well, I saw My Hero Academia In Concert in their heyday in the late 80鈥檚. Fantastic! Very, very disappointed and sorry I made the 2-hour drive and spent $186 on 2 tickets.
